The Software tells me Wells Fargo Bank is not an American Bank

The Software tells me Wells Fargo Bank is not an American Bank so I can't pay Ca through a Debit? What is up with that?

Double check the bank routing # with Wells Fargo.

I have triple check the routing number.

You may have answered a question during the bank entry too quickly.

On my "State" Information Worksheet  (desktop, in Forms Mode), there is a checkoff as to  whether the payment or refund is to go thru an international ACH located outside the USA...I suspect that is checked Yes  (though I'm not sure where/when it shows up in the interview)
