I moved in to an apartment end of October 2020. Our rent is $900/mo, heat included, plus $35/mo x 3 cats. Three of of us live here and split it equally. Do I enter in the amount that I myself paid from October 2020-December 2020? Or what I would have paid for a whole year? My portion would be $335/mo with heat and pet included.
Or would I not add the pet rent and just enter $300 x the few months? Thank you!

Rent is not a qualified education expense. Not sure what you are referring to with the "School property tax credit" you posted above.
RENT
There is not a rent deduction or credit on your Federal return. If your state has anything for renters you will be prompted to enter your rent info when you complete your state return. As far as I know, the states that have anything for rent are Arizona, California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Indiana, Iowa, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington DC, and Wisconsin.
It was asking me about the school district I live in and a bunch of questions about homestead credit and I'm just so confused
also i live in wisconsin
looks like it is asking you for how much you paid all year "Rent paid in 2020" would mean the amount during the year.
okay so i'm once again re asking my original questions. i only lived here for 2 months in 2020. and do I include my pet rent?
So you have two months of 2020 rent ---I am not familiar enough with the WI laws to know if you can include the extra amount for your cats. Sorry. Even if you can--- it would probably be worth very little.
