The New York City enhanced real property tax credit expired 12/31/2019 so there is no 2020 version of Form NYC-208.

Yes, if the credit is reinstated, then TurboTax will integrate the credit again. For now, no credit, not in program.

if i already filed my tax return, how turbo tax integrate the credit again? and do you know why the  GOV take this credit out, it is not fair. 500 buck!

Credits are usually not reinstated during the middle of the year. If that were done, people who already filed would have to file amended returns. If the NYC enhanced real property tax credit was put back in for 2020, you can file an amended return.

Contact you state representative if you are unhappy about the credit going away.

Here is the eligibility for NYC enhanced property tax.

Since you have already filed, you can complete the form and mail it.  New York City Form 208.  Save the file as a pdf on your computer before filling it in.

That links to the 2019 version. As we have been discussing, the New York City enhanced real property tax credit expired 12/31/2019 so there is no 2020 version of Form NYC-208.

There is no NYC-208 for this year so there is no update. The New York City enhanced real property tax credit expired 12/31/2019. The credit is not available for 2020.

the NYC-208-1 can be sent independently. It is good until 4/17/2023.  However, it is for the tax year of 2019. 

The link online must be completed in Adobe Acrobat on the Taxation and Finance departments' site.  ProSeries didn't update it (as of 4/7/20) because you'd need to use their 2019 version if it was there or the website below:

@dinakarhenry As stated above the NYC enhanced property tax credit expired 12/31/2019.  It has not as yet been re-instated.  So there is no NYC 208 for 2020 or 2021.
