It appears that turbotax Deluxe gave us credit for military retirement pay, which it should not have. Instead of getting a refund of $893, we now owe $278 (includes penalty). I have used Turbotax for years - this is the first year that I've used Turbotax to do my Missouri taxes - I'm not sure if I'll ever do that again!!!!! I may even switch tax programs - the call center is awful.

Thank you - I had not realized that. It was never an option on the MO tax form until this year. I'm contacting the state.
I called the state - I have to send a copy of the notice letter, plus the MO-A form and the 1st page of my federal 1040.
