I got a letter and the irs told me to tell u because I went three here for my taxes the latter from the state of nj is NEW LETTER  my nephew and it says my son which that us wrong  and I have to get transcript  and I have I'd and as cards and birth certificate  for me and everyone on my list

Wait---is the letter from the IRS or from New Jersey?  TurboTax never knows about letters sent to you by the IRS or your state. 

AUDIT SUPPORT

TurboTax has a special phone number for help with IRS/state tax letters, which will be easier than going through regular Customer Support.   At the page below, click on the blue button that says "Get Help from TurboTax Support".  Then it will ask you what tax year is your letter.  Then it will ask you what the letter concerns. Then it will show you the phone number during posted business hours.

Then you deal with New Jersey--not the IRS. If there is something in the letter from New Jersey that you do not understand then contact them.
