Update: What I did to have the system force Efile was. Erased the tax lot and block numbers in smart check. Went back to my Federal return and erased the 1099B imports. Manually input the information myself. Use Total sales do not list them one by one. That fixed the issue. It seems that if you have more then 100 transactions. The state system can not handle it. I believe it’s the same with MA as well. I hope this helps at least one Person good luck everyone. This was to correct the other issues that I was having with TT not just Biz Pass through error. This will correct
I was finally able to file today.
I was able to e-file today too! I went to "Your tax returns & documents" and then "+Add a State" and it let me click through and e-file. It did not charge me again since I had already paid.
Still have issue with NJ-DOP error. Talked with TT representative today (2/18) and said update form not released. Did anyone hear anything on this?
I saw that message two days ago, and yesterday there were lots of complaints about being unable to e-file for reasons related to that form. But it was a bug. My experience is like that of others posting here, that when I shut down TurboTax and re-opened it, I was prompted for some updates, and these resolved the issue.
The only issue I had with the DOP form was the form was not released for filing. With the update the other day I had no issues or errors indicated with the form.
Every cloud has a silver lining. With all the posts I've read about the NJ BAIT issue, and the few I have posted, I've earned a large number of "badges" for my participation here. Woo Hoo! 😉
Our team is investigating this error message and more data would assist us. It would help to have a diagnostic file which is a sanitized copy of your tax return that has all of your personal information removed but still has all of the forms and numbers entered. You can send one to us by following the directions below and posting the token number here so we can access the sanitized return. Many thanks.

@TeresaM If you have over a 100 sales on a 1099B or multiple ones add up to over a 100. And use the auto import function. The form will not accept it when it goes to smart check and when you attempt e file it will give you the error and tell you to mail the return. I suggest to others to consolidate that and enter in just the total Cost basis and total proceeds on line 1d and upload a copy with said information manually. You can then Efile and it will be accepted. I have done this for prior years. This was the first year I used the auto import and had this issue. I have now resolved this issue for myself by doing the above. This is an issue with the state of MA too and maybe others. I hope this helps.
928300 token # Please help...thanks so much!
The above mentioned solution to summarize totals for 1099-B worked. I filed with State!
@drd psych Awesome glad I could help, like I said I always file my taxes that way. Some people on forums are getting their taxes rejected something about retirement…. Error code not sure how to help with that sorry. I still think there is glitches in the system.
Today is 2/19 and I’m still getting error messages for NJ-DOP. TT on the list of form, it says NJ-DOP form will be available 2/17. I think you guys should update the list and put a factual date of when the form will be ready. People paying all this money to use this software and it’s not working. All the representatives said wait 24hrs and here it’s going on 48! I been using TT for years and never had issues. You guys have a promotion if u file before 2/22 you get discount. Are y’all having this problem so people can miss out on the promotion? Can someone help us in getting the problem fix? Are you guys able to compensate the people that’s waiting for this form to update? This is ridiculous!!
@Dkenna2 I'm having the exact same problem. Are you using the online or CD version of turbo tax? Is this for crypto?
Online, I sold stock
