New tax deadline is now 10/16/2023 for my county in California, Do I have to do anything to acheive this date or is it an automatic thing?

and is this for state and federal, i'm used to filing both at the same time. Pease advise.

There is nothing you need to do it is automatic if you are resident of one of the affected counties. It is for both federal and state.
