The estimated state tax payments and the tax payment included with an extension are entered in the federal interview. It then flows to the state. There is a problem with overriding a form. Overriding may invalidate our 100% Accurate Calculations Guarantee. Additionally, returns that contain overrides cannot be e-filed.
Here is how to enter some of those tax payments:
This does not work. Federal K-1, Box 13, Code W is now reserved for "W- Clean electricity production credit". Please provide another solution.
The amount on North Carolina form D-400, Line 21c originates from the Tax Payments Worksheet, Line 8.
The Date Paid is in the first column, and the amount in the second column. You can enter/change the amounts on the Tax Payments Worksheet in FORMS mode.
If you're entering Federal K-1, here's more info on Entering Form K-1. A credit for clean electricity production would be shown on Federal Form 3800 Worksheet, Line 1f.

It is best to data source back to a data entry point that is allowed. I can see a magnifying glass showing on the answer by @MarilynG1 which tells me you can click that glass to get to a better spot for entry.
If all else fails, you can override. You should go back through step by step to get the program to pick up the information so you can cancel the override before filing.
An override will void the accuracy guarantee.
Box 13 code ZZ will allow this entry.
