Kentucky State Tax Error

When doing the review to e file an error popped up? It said I had an error of a missing EIN or SSN for the dependent care credit and was not eligible to e file. However, I did not claim this credit and it never offered me an option to correct it. I have been through everything multiple times now and can't find it anywhere. What can I do so I can e file this return?

I e-filed my federal and state tax returns. They were rejected because they said I have two 1099R that are the same. They are not the same one is for Russell and one is for Margaret. All the numbers are the same but are for different people. I have filed my taxes for at least 10 years this way with no problem. How can I fix this problem. RH1941

I submitted a question on this also. I recently saw other replies that they had success e-filing and the GLITCH was fixed. I just tried e-filing again, but it wouldn't let me...I had to make a phone call to a sales rep which was totally frustrating, trying to get through to anybody....finally, after a 20 minute phone call, it was filed and I received a confirming email stating that.

I was able to efile around 6:30pm last night with no problem .. The glitch was gone .. But almost 24 hours later the irs has not accepted my return .. I am still pending .. It has never taken this long maybe a few hours at the most …

Should be fixed with yesterday's update. If you are using the TurboTax desktop CD/Download editions then you need to update your software to the latest release. Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen and then click on Check for Updates.

Got back in TurboTax today, downloaded updates and all is well. I efiled my Ky state return today...
