Support is either uninformed, or telling you a flat out LIE! We have three returns in our house - 2 simple, one more complicated. The two simple ones have transmitted. The complicated one has not. There are instructions on this thread to get a refund of you $25. I am waiting until Monday in hopes the final one will transmit.
Apparently TurboTax did not get all the additional forms required for complicated returns approved by the state of Indiana. This can be found on a very hard to find link a technician sent me that said those advanced forms are not supported this year. TT knows that and should have a disclaimer on their website, BUT THEY DON"T. Your best bet if you have paid for E-filing is to print and file and request a refund of your $25 from Intuit. They said it takes a couple weeks to get the money back on your credit card. Extremely frustrating!! Here is the link:

Thank you for this info. I went through this list before, and I don’t have any form that is unsupported for efiling, and still it won’t transmit. I suspect the story is more complicated. I am not at all optimistic that TT would fix this anytime soon or if they care. They just lost a long-time user !
If you are still having trouble transmitting the return, please follow the instructions here to contact us by phone so we can look into this further. @MS2022
Thank you. But this generic response is not very helpful. If you have been following the user discussion / frustration on this topic, please post when you are sure that TurboTax has fixed this issue. Simply calling TurboTax support line is not going to do me any good. I have already spent 2 hrs on the phone, and wasted a lot of time trying in the hope that the problem has been fixed. So far it has not been fixed.
You beat me to it. Robots are not helping. Fix it. Expletive. Turbo Tax will clearly be losing alot of customers.
So I am having a similar problem with my Georgia state returns. I live in Georgia but work for a company domiciled in South Carolina. I have to file state tax returns for both states. I have never had a problem previously but this year my Federal & South Carolina returns were filed yesterday & accepted today, Monday 4/11/22. My Georgia return which I already paid for efile would not file due to what I guess you are calling a "circular error". It is a vicious circle. When attempting to file I get a message that states there is one last thing to check. Seems I cannot type my first name on the Georgia Personal Information Sheet. OK that seems odd , but I delete it. Try to file again. Oops, you must have you first name on the Georgia Personal Information sheet. OK, let's type our first name in again....You guessed it, the vicious circle is completed and goes round and round. There are no other updates available to fix this. I am at a loss on how to proceed.
Support will put you in an infinite loop as well. I recommend printing your Georgia return and mailing it. I am caving today as well and will put my Indiana return on the mail today. Really irritating as now I question the accuracy of my return.
I owe and the IN forms still won't transmit
Hello all interested parties. I found a fix that worked for me. My issue as you may remember was my Georgia return was asking me to delete my first name from my personal information worksheet. When I went to efile it required me to have my first name on the personal information worksheet. I contacted TT tech support who was of little help. She was having a hard time even logging on to view my desktop & was asking me to tell her what I was seeing on my TT screen. And when I didn't see what she was looking for she wanted to know where I was in the TT system. Felt she was lost. She finally got logged on & saw my problem but could do nothing to fix it. I finally tried copying & pasting my 1st mane from my Federal Return & it worked. Off it went to the Georgia Department of Revenue. For whatever reason the Personal Information worksheet populates from the Federal worksheet & the link is broken for the Taxpayer's First Name only.
I have the same problem. My federal return will transmit by itself, but the Indiana form will not transmit.
Has your federal return been processed yet? @GrandPapaDau
Yea, the federal did transmit and the refund processed quickly. The state was mail and so far nothing.
Yes. No problems. State of Indiana never went through. Had to print and mail. 17 years of no troubles ruined.
Yep same here. Federal transmitted no problem. Then had to mail the state in.
