Tennessee does not impose state income tax and you are not required to file a state return for your wages. However, you must file a Hall tax return if you are a resident and you made more than $1,250 (single) or $2,500 (married, filing jointly) from income earned from interest, dividends or capital gains.
For additional information on the Hall Income Tax Return, please see Hall Income Tax Guide.
Are you a resident of Indiana and working in Tennessee? If so, you would file a resident return with Indiana and nothing for Tennessee (unless you need to file a Hall return for unearned income). You will need to file a tax return in your resident state reporting all income you earn, no matter the location.
If you did not live or work in Indiana, they you can delete the state return if it is showing up for you under the State tab.
To delete a state:
TN does not have an income tax. Leave W2 boxes 15-17 Blank.
