Did the IRS send you a letter asking for verification of your income? When it arrives it will probably ask you to complete the attached form 14420, Verification of Income.
In that case, you don't "fix" this; you wait for the IRS to finish their process. And, of course, you respond promptly to any requests for information that the IRS sends you.
No they told me I don't have to do anything. They are waiting for my income from Walgreens they haven't received it yet. I'm under a 45 day review which I'm not sure if it started on 1/28 which one person said the tax advocate told me I have to wait until 3/9 to contact them so I'm assuming the 45 days started when the received my return.
Since you used the words taxpayer advocate, you are already being handled by the correct intermediary. Wait and be patient.
