Hi,
1. I see Turbotax generated a bunch of tax forms and assumes that I will be paper filing (federal & state) and says to send the tax return, all of my tax statements (W2s, 1099s etc) with the paper filing. If I choose to efile, does TT provide a revised list of what documents to send, if I efiled ? The instruction on what documents to mail if I efile is confusing...
2. Also, a part of my income is from NY. So when I mail my forms, should I send any documentation for that ? My company just gave a word document with company logo and no signature on the amount I earned in NY.
Thanks

If you e-file, you don't need to mail in anything, everything gets sent electronically. If you are able to e-file, I recommend you going back to the filing section and changing your option to e-file.
How do I change from mail to e-file in TurboTax Online?
But, before you do that, make sure your you have all of your income reported correctly. It sounds like you received some self-employment income from NY; that income should be reported on Schedule C if you were not issued a W-2 form.
I do not have TT Online. Just the download version. Also my NY income is not from business, but from my employer who sent me W2 along with the word document for the NY portion
It is rare that one would need to mail anything in after e-filing though there are some states that require paper documents in certain situations after e-filing. TurboTax will give you an alert in the state interview, if you encounter one of those special situations.
If you e-file your state returns TurboTax will transmit the forms required by each state in your filing; there will not normally be anything to mail in. Again if there are rare special circumstances TurboTax will alert you as go through the state interview of the need to mail in anything separately.
