It would be on your W-2 if there was state withholding in box 17. That tells you what state the withholding was for.

If there is box 17 withholding then contact the W-2 issuer for a corrected W-2.

If there is no state identification number in Box 15 of your W-2, please use the employer identification number (EIN) in box b as the state identification number.

I have a 1099-INT from Ally Bank. It is a personal account so there is no FEIN number. They have a Payers TIn number listed. What # do i input if there is no FEIN.
