If you were a New York state resident on 12/31/2020 then you need to file a 2020 New York state tax return.
And if you lived and worked in NY for part of 2021 then you will need to file a part year NY tax return for 2021 next year.
If you were a resident of NY state AT ANY TIME in 2020, you must file a NY tax return. You owe a state tax return based on where you live when you earn income. It might be a full year resident return or a part-year resident return depending on when you moved.
If you were a resident of NY state at any time in 2021, you must file a 2021 NY state tax return at the end of 2021. Again, it might be a part-year return if you moved partway through the year.
If your move to Florida was temporary, you may still be a full NY resident. Your residency, or domicile, is the place where you have most of your long-term attachments, like job, friends, church, other social clubs, your doctor and dentist, and so on. To change your domicile to Florida, you must also actively give up or abandon your NY domicile. If your move was temporary, or if you think it might be permanent but you kept your NY lease "just in case" then you are probably still domiciled in NY and therefore owe NY a tax return as a resident.
Lastly, if you are working out of state for an NY-based company, you may owe NY income tax even if you are not a resident or domiciled in NY. If you moved for your own convenience, you still owe NY tax. If you moved for the company's convenience, you do not. For example, if you are a graphic designed and moved because of COVID, but the company offices in NY are still open and they have a work space available for you if you wanted to come back, then you moved for your own convenience and you owe NY income tax. If the company closed their NY office, then you moved for the company's requirements and would not owe NY tax for income earned after the move.
