I lived in Michigan for all of 2021. I work for an out of state company based in Pennsylvania and receive my compensation through them. Two separate Michigan businesses, both in different cities than where I live, contract with my employer for me to perform my services on-site at the local business. Those businesses pay my employer in Pennsylvania, and my employer pays me. I receive no direct compensation from the local employers. I was located in Lansing at the first location from 1-1-21 to 4-23-21, and in Saginaw from 4-24-21 to 12-31-21. I live in Okemos. Am I required to pay city taxes in either of these locations using the CF-1040? The program indicates I should, but that seems for employers where I was specifically employed and paid in that city.
Thank you.

Yes, you are required to pay city tax if you lived in Lansing and Saginaw. You are taxed where you work not where your employer is located.
Thank you. To be clear, I lived in Okemos not Saginaw or Lansing, so no tax payment required. Correct?
Again, thanks.
If you worked in Lansing or Saginaw you must pay the nonresident city income tax rate. @TLDavis65
