City taxes in Michigan
I lived in Michigan for all of 2021. I work for an out of state company based in Pennsylvania and receive my compensation through them. Two separate Michigan businesses, both in different cities than where I live, contract with my employer for me to perform my services on-site at the local business. Those businesses pay my employer in Pennsylvania, and my employer pays me. I receive no direct compensation from the local employers. I was located in Lansing at the first location from 1-1-21 to 4-23-21, and in Saginaw from 4-24-21 to 12-31-21. I live in Okemos. Am I required to pay city taxes in either of these locations using the CF-1040? The program indicates I should, but that seems for employers where I was specifically employed and paid in that city.
Thank you.
