part yr resident

new york city part year. do i change the w-2 income to reflect the correct amount for part year resident. i can't get any income to flow to return. I can't override the amount on the w-2 either.

If your W-2 is incorrect from your employer, you need a corrected one. NYC gets a copy of the W-2 and they will need the income reported on your return to match the W-2. You can't make changes to a reporting form.
