My answer actually came from reading another post. This form will be finalized Feb 24. I did play around with the save form by form from the individual form print button at the bottom so I could print these form by form and mail them in if all is not fixed Feb 24.
1) Even if it's not perfectly fixed by the 24th, I'd wait another full week and attempt to E-file after the March 2or3 software updates. NC has stated on their NCDOR webpage that they will allow e-filing to start the 24th, but they won't even start processing any until the week of the 28th. So paper-mailed tax returns would be MUCH later.
2) go thru your NC interview to see if you have any Charitable Contribution carryover $$ listed for NC. IF you are itemizing deductions for NC for 2021, those value are likely wrong right now and may need to be zero'd out by you. (Unless you truly contributed more than 60% cash of your AGI in 2020 to charity....50% of AGI for items, 30% of AGI for capital Gain property).....that is a software bug supposedly being worked on, but you'll need to fix it before you file.
thank you for this extra clarification. That helps. I will wait to file.
