Your Oregon personal exemption credit should generate on line 23 your state return, based on the information you provided in your state interview. It's not something you'd need to enter.
You should be able to see your exemption credit in the Oregon tax summary. To get there:
There, you should be able to see your exemption credit. If you don't see it there, please post back.
Bear in mind that this is a non-refundable credit. That means it can only offset any tax you owe. If you owe no tax, you won't receive the credit amount.
I receive an 1099-NEC, so I do owe money. I can't see that the total I owe has been reduced by this credit anywhere. I don't want to pay for the service to see that it's included if I can't verify if I am getting the $219 credit, at that point it is cheaper for me to simply pay an accountant to file my taxes. How can I verify that the credit is being applied? A friend of mine who is also self-employed used your service last year and the credit was never applied; he only found out because the state recalculated it for him when they noticed the credit was missing.
To clarify, I only see federal when I click "review tax summary."
Look on the left side of the page. @saramaureen

This does not show up on my sidebar. Is it because I have not paid and filed yet? Again I don't want to file unless I can verify the credit is being applied.
