Most states do not even allow direct debit to pay tax due. Better find out if that is allowed by your state. Most states want you to send a check or money order or pay on the state website. Read what it says in the filing instructions that print out with your return.
It allowed me to for a Kentucky state return. I call and talked to turbo tax, they said it shouldn't effect it. Going to call the state as well.
Well, KY won't even receive the DD info until it accepts the return.
Kentucky doesn't take debit from turbo tax, so I am going to send a check instead. Thank you all for your input.
