I just saw on the news about a tax credit for low income that could be up to $6000. Did I qualify for that credit?

The credit they were talking about on the news is the Earned Income Tax Credit (EITC). TurboTax calculates the EITC automatically based on your income, filing status, and dependents.

If you have already filed, you can check for EITC on your Tax Return:

1040EZ line 8a

1040A line 42a

1040 line 66a
