How do I eliminate requests from MS State Tax Form 80-107 Worksheet "Other State ID" on 1099-INTs since Mississippi is the only state to which I pay state taxes?

I don't have MS installed myself....but I suspect that one or more of your 1099-INT forms has $$ in box 8 of the -INT form.
You need to edit that/those -INT forms and during the follow-up questions, you will be asked to ID what states produced that box 8 $$ amount.....ie which state's bonds produced the interest.  If you bought individual MS bonds, you can select MS as the source.  If the $$ came from a mixed bond Mutual fund, it's easiest to just go to the end of the list of states and select "More than one state".
___________________________
It is possible to "Potentially" reduce your state taxes a bit by identifying what $$ amount in box 8 came solely from MS-issued bonds from the state or city or county or School district in MS.  But to do that you need to calculate the exact $$ amount yourself from a listing the broker provides...and usually just selecting "More than one state" is simpler.  (if box 8 moves into the thousands of $$, then it's time to start investigating how to do that)

How do I eliminate requests from MS State Tax Form 80-107 Worksheet "Other State ID" on 1099-INTs since Mississippi is the only state to which I pay state taxes?

Thanks. The 1099-INTs were for CD's and checking acct - not much interest received on any of them, but what a "roadblock". I deleted all 1099-INT information and retyped them . . . again listing Mississippi at the primary state and no secondary. Still did not work over in the Mississippi edit. Finally, I decided to add Mississippi as the "2nd" state  . . . and it worked. There must be a glitch this year in the transfer of some information on the federal side when transferred to the Mississippi side. Another error in transfer of the information: the ADDRESS of the bank, from which 2 CDs were purchased, was dropped. Thanks again.

How do I eliminate requests from MS State Tax Form 80-107 Worksheet "Other State ID" on 1099-INTs since Mississippi is the only state to which I pay state taxes?

Like others have said, the program is saying it needs a the other state's id.  Go back into the interview questions for the specific form - 1099-INT or 1099-DIV and make sure there isn't any amounts in the state boxes (I clicked on each input box and hit delete 3 times then Backspace 3 times to get out an accidental space bar input.) The run the review again.

If the error is still there then Delete the 80-107 Worksheet - in TurboTax Online click on Tax Tools, Tools - brings up the tools center, then Delete a Form.  There will be a complete list of all the Forms included in the return, so scroll down to the MS forms - the 80-107 worksheet should be near the bottom.

For TurboTax Desktop - go into Forms mode and delete the form there.

Deleting the form will force the program to repopulate it and this has successfully cleared the error for several users.
