Filing a NY state income tax return

Turbo tax says I have to file my NY individual income tax return electronically. However, because of certain forms in my Federal return, I can't file my Federal return electronically. Because I have to mail in my Federal return, does that preclude me from being able to file my NY individual tax return electronically? Need an answer asap.

Sorry, right. If you mail federal you have to mail all state returns too. Don't worry about it.
