Federal only version of Turbotax Premier 2020

Can someone tell me when "Turbotax Premier Federal only 2020" on CD-Rom for PC will be released for the US citizens living in Europe? We do not need the State part of the programm. Thank you.

The TurobTax Basic desktop edition does not include a state program.

Since ALL the downloaded programs can handle ALL the same forms you ONLY need to buy the BASIC version if you don't need a state return.  Premier is nice but not needed.  

If you will exclude all your foreign earned income and/or your AGI will be less than $72K ...

If you qualify  AND   if you wait until mid January  THEN you can use one of  the IRS FREE FILE options to file a fed & state return for free ... but you must be patient.    https://www.irs.gov/filing/free-file-do-your-federal-taxes-for-free

If you buy Turbo Tax from a retail store or online (not from Intuit)  you can buy Deluxe without state.  Deluxe comes 2 ways, with and without state.  All the Desktop programs have the same forms. You just get more help and guidance in the higher versions.   But I think Basic might have some limitations.

Basic has 2 limitations ... it will not import from It's Deductible and it has no state program included.

TurboTax Premier is not available without the state. Premier always includes one state. Only Deluxe is available with or without a state. As VolvoGirl said above, the federal-only version of TurboTax Deluxe is available from some online retailers, but not directly from TurboTax. Bricks and mortar stores only sell the federal-only version in states that have no income tax.

Thanks for your advice. I am afraid that I will have to buy "Premier plus one state" for my 2 American daughters. They have a house, some stock and a job in the Netherlands. And they loved the same software for the 2019 Tax Return. The product will probably soon show up on Amazon, but will be costly to import into the Netherlands. I should use the delivery address of my sister in NJ, I suppose.

Again you do NOT need the Premier ... the Deluxe will work just fine and save you a few $$.
