If your state taxes unemployment compensation then the UC you entered on the federal return will flow to the state return.
States that do Not tax unemployment compensation -
Alabama, California, Montana, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Virginia
You must enter unemployment in your federal return. Information flows from your federal return to the state return. But.....some states do not tax unemployment----so that might be why you are not seeing it on the state form. You have not mentioned what state you are in.
Your unemployment income should carry over o your state return.
However, These states either don’t impose tax on personal income or exempt unemployment income from tax.
