What is the Direct Debit deadline for Massachusetts taxpayers?

selected e-file for my 1040 and option for direct debit lists 4/15 deadline. Massachusetts has extra time (4/17), can I still use direct debit on 4/16?

April 17, 2019 is the deadline, so a debit date of April 16 is fine.

Chances are MA won't debit on the exact date you specify and it can take your bank another few days to post the debit to your account.
