1040 with State Return

Why was a form 1040 was included at the end of state return forms? Was it for my records or do I need to submit with my other Illinois forms.

Are you filing your IL return by mail? Include the federal 1040 with the state return. IL seems to love paper.

I already clicked "File Fed and State together," and learned that I don't need to file State tax return at all. How do I remove it from Turbo Tax?
