Can i change the answer to schedule c line j? I need to send a 1099, which i did, but in reviewing my return box "no" is checked, indicating I did/will not send a 1099

You can change the answer by following the steps below:

• Log into your tax return
• Click on Federal
• Click on Income & Expenses
• Click the button beside Self-Employed Income and Expenses
• Click Edit beside your Line of Work
• Click Edit beside General Info
• Click the pencil icon beside Payments and identification (See the screenshot below)

The first page will ask if you paid employees

The second page asks if you paid a contractor more than $600.  You can change your answer here.
