You can change the answer by following the steps below:
- Log into your tax return
- Click on Federal
- Click on Income & Expenses
- Click the button beside Self-Employed Income and Expenses
- Click Edit beside your Line of Work
- Click Edit beside General Info
- Click the pencil icon beside Payments and identification (See the screenshot below)
The first page will ask if you paid employees
The second page asks if you paid a contractor more than $600. You can change your answer here.
