Trying to complete my taxes however my SSA-1099 has an amount in Box 3 and Box 4 but on the Turbo Tax form there is no Box 3 and box 4. What do I do? Thank you

Working on my 2022 taxes, there are no Box 3 or Box 4 on the SSA-1099 form on turbo tax. What can I do?

When entering your information from the SSA-1099 you only need to enter the amount in box 5.  Box 5 is Box 3 minus Box 4.

You must be trying to enter it in the wrong place.

  Go to Federal> Wages & Income>>Retirement Plans and Social Security  (SSA1099 and 1099RRB) to enter your SSA1099.

You don't need to enter SSA-1099 Box 3 and Box 4 in TurboTax. Your gross benefits are shown in box 3 of Form SSA-1099. Your repayments are shown in box 4. The amount in box 5 shows your net benefits for 2022 (Box 3 minus Box 4). You only report the amount in Box 5 to figure whether any of your benefits are taxable.
