I erroneously characterized some of my interest income as Non Taxable for the state of NH. I am trying to delete those entries but I am not allowed, How can I do it?

These entries are usually made in the Federal program. Return to your entries of the interest income in the Federal program and see what you entered there. You can find these under Federal taxes, Wages and income, interest and dividend income. Edit the interest income concerned. If you checked anywhere there that the income received special treatment in your state, leave that checkmark and go through the following screens to remove, not zero out, but remove your entries, then go back and uncheck the box. Go back to tthe state program to transfer the new information.
