Social security number wrong on last 2 years return, do I need to mail in this years return? (this is the first year I e-filed)

If you have fixed the issue with the IRS regarding your wrong social security number then you will be able to e-file. You can check what the IRS has as your social security number by verifying it with the social security administration. The IRS uses that database.

If the social security numbers don't match you won't be able to e-file.
