TurboTax has a lot of boxes.

Why can’t I type in the box to finish my taxes

If you are using Desktop TTX software, try double-clicking on the box....sometimes that opens a Supplemental Data worksheet attached to that box from a prior year.

(that won't help if you are using the "Online" TTX software)
