I'm over 70.5 years old. In 2020, RMD's were suspended. I did, however, make an IRA withdrwl for mediate charity contrib. Can I designate this as "None was RMD" ?

Correct.  None of the distribution was RMD because no distribution was required.

The reason the RMD question is asked because it could still be an RMD even though they were not required last year.  Most folks will answer NO.
