I have a blank space for "taxable amount" on my 1099r. (Taxable amount not determined is checked) The program wants to put a 0 in space. I don't want.

Taxable amount I don't know. Is it zero? I don't know and can't say.

Leave box 2a blank (empty) if box 2b Taxable amount not determined is checked

When the box is checked, the amount entered is irrelevant.
