Form I099 INT - BOX 15 - ‘Select a state’ I am being asked to fill this in but WA state (my state) is missing from the drop down menu. Please advise! Thank you!

Several states do not have a state income tax. So these states will not show up in certain drop down lists.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming

Leave boxes 15,16,17 entirely empty...no entry....not a zero...entirely blank

Same thing for any other tax form that has a separate state line for state withholding.
