error opening tax file on 2024 taxes

I can not pull up my 2024 tax return that I have save to file or make changes. I am on windows 11

and have opened it 3 times before to make changes.

A window comes up"error in opening tax return"  When I click on "OK" it just start me a new return.

It's possible that Windows BitLocker may be blocking you from receiving TurboTax updates properly.

I get updates. I have my 2024 return ready to file, but can not open it. All it says is "error on opening

tax return"

Try to click Okay from that screen, then Open from the next one.  Use my #1 first, if that does not work or you do not see it, try #2. @larpetrey

It only comes up "start a new return"

Can you click on Find a Tax File (#2)?  You should get a popup box with TurboTax files.  You can also type "TurboTax" or ".tax" in the Windows search to try to locate the file. @larpetrey
