I have received a 1099-R for a 401k direct rollover to IRA. It's coded as G in box 7. Do I need to do anything else or just input that 1099-R? I want to make sure it doesn't get reported as a taxable event

Enter the 1099R. Code G will tell it that it is a direct transfer and not taxable. When you are done check 1040 line 4b should be zero. It might say Rollover by it.
Great. Thanks. Not sure how to look at 1040 line 4b
Are you using the Online version? You can preview the 1040 or print the whole return
