When will the 1099R section be ready for the 2025 TurboTax? I want to get a response from a TurboTax employee and not someone from a user group. Also, when I sign up to be notified when it is updated, I get a fast reply it has been...except it really has not.

unlikely to get a response from Intuit here or any different information already provided on the other threads about this. No one knows exact dates beyond what is implied in the form availability tool or where shown in the app, tho 1099B says "Feb maybe sooner" and 1099R says "asap".
Agree there is an issue with email notification signup, from what I can see it keeps referring to Form 3903 for Moving Expenses.
If you're still trying to do estimates for 2025 then either try using Forms mode, use different s/w, or use a different online calculator like this
Still not update as of 1-16-26 and this is totally frustrating!

The Form 1099-R section is estimated to be finalized and available in TurboTax on 01/21/2026
The 1099R is available in Turbo Tax now.
Care to share the program name?
I am considering Tax Act. I went to their website, and I am not getting any messages about the 1099R not being available. I don't recall if they charge or not, however.
Still not updated in the software and "yes" I did do the updates.
As the original person who posted this. "This is VERY frustrating.

@user17689364450 The Form 1099-R section was updated last night. 01/21/2026, for the online editions. If you are not seeing this on your account, clear cache and cookies on your web browser.
The Form 1099-R section was updated this morning, 01/22/2026, for the desktop editions. Click on Online at the top of the desktop program screen. Click on Check for Updates.
I entered data for one 1099R and now it will not let me review that data or add another 1099R source. There are some MAJOR glitches in TT this year. I am willing to assign some responsibility to all the confusion over massive and late tax changes. But for the program to simply not work is a development and QA issue!!!! Being on hold for 30+ minutes just to talk to someone about this doesn't make me feel any better about a $100+ investment.
