My federal income tax withheld is lower than my state income tax withheld and turbo tax online is saying it cannot be entered like that. how do i correct this entry?

I posted both a W-2 and a 1099-R with State withholding greater than Federal and had no problem. Please clarify the form you are trying to post.

Is it saying actually that your State tax withheld is more than your income? Or that your State income is higher than your Box 1 (W-2) income?

No, i am retired. all figures are 1099R and social security

@diggim1 Check your data entry carefully, especially commas and decimals. In fact, don't even type in any commas.
