ira required distribution including extra for tax

every time I do a required distribution, I get a 1099-r back.  I pay extra at the time of payment for  income tax so if I take out $12,000, I might add $3,000 for estimated taxes.  The American Century company or others  takes the extra tax payment and sends it to the IRS automatically for me.

I canot find out in the 2024 Turbotax where to enter the pre-payment I made for the estimated tax.

The Form 1099-R should have the total federal income taxes withheld in box 4 of the form.

Are you saying the 1099-R is incorrect for the amount in box 4?
