It is masked on save to pdf for security. If you print for filing it is not masked.
Wrong. Your answer, "It is masked on save to pdf for security. If you print for filing it is not masked" is INCORRECT for my 2020 report. My 2019 TTax showed bank numbers when viewing Form 1040. My 2020 TTax shows XXXXX's for bank numbers when viewing Form 1040. When I print 2020 for filing, XXXXX's print, not the bank numbers.
So I ask again. Will IRS reject my filing when TTax sends XXXXX's? I have NO proof TTax will send the bank numbers.

The direct debit information is sent with the e-filed tax return. Direct debit information is not shown on your printed tax return, Form 1040.
Look at the Federal Information Worksheet in Part V for the bank information you entered and the date of payment for the federal taxes owed.
If using the TurboTax desktop editions -
Click on Forms. When in Forms mode open the Federal Information Worksheet (Info Wks) on the left side of the screen. Scroll down to Part V.
If using the TurboTax online editions -
To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/
When you sign onto your online account and land on the Tax Home web page, scroll down and click on Add a state.
This will take you back to the 2020 online tax return.
Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the online program screen. Then click on Print Center. Then click on Print, save or preview this year's return. Choose the option Include government and TurboTax worksheets
Millions of taxpayers get direct deposit so of course it is sent to the IRS, If it would not pint when paper filing you could never get direct deposit. It is only masked when you save for your records.
Print for filing:
Print "Save As PDF"
Also...the "Electronic Filing Instructions" sheet will show exactly what you entered for Direct Debiting.....and what is sent to the IRS:

THANK YOU EVERYONE!
Today I spoke with a great TTax rep (Sikirat) who convinced me the bank account numbers will NOT show on the TurboTax Form-1040 until AFTER I have eFiled. After TTax eFiles, then the numbers will show on TTax's Form-1040. I hope he is right, but this "after it's done" programming is inconvenient and makes it difficult to catch an error before it is too late.
I asked Sikirat to suggest to TTax that they change this XXXXX false secrecy because I'm the one using the program and I know the numbers and TTax does NOT need to use XXXXX to hide the numbers from me when I'm using the program. If the numbers ONLY show AFTER eFile, and they show AFTER I print what I eFiled, why are they no longer a secret? Thieves would see the print-out before they would every have access to my program data. When I'm using TurboTax on my computer (not live) where no secrecy is needed by me, the numbers should show on Form-1040 so I can more easily confirm that it is the account I still want to use. I should not have to waste time multi-clicking to find/open the Form-1040 worksheet.
Thanks again for your help and for letting me share my suggestion for TTax to STOP using this XXXXX false secrecy. Every year too many users search Google for answers about this XXXXX-TurboTax-caused inconvenience.
