I was advised that my withholdings were wrong on my tax return, what should I do?

Amend or just wait to hear from the IRS?

Who said it was wrong?  Did you get a corrected W2 from your employer?  Did Turbo Tax say you have Excess Social Security? Exactly which withholding is wrong?

I spoke with a Tax Advocate today and she said my returns are processing but my withholdings from my job seem as if that’s the holdup

There is nothing you can do about it now ... when the IRS is finished processing the return they will probably correct the issue themselves ... in the mean time look at what you entered in the program and what is on your paper W-2 ... is box 2 the same ?  Did you make a data entry error ?  If the IRS doesn't make the correction you may need to amend the return ... but for now sit tight.
