I have an Exercise SSO worksheet that I think was carried over from last year. It doesn't apply to this year. Is that something that carries over and can I delete it?

Specifically, I had SSO's that I exercised last year so it makes sense that I had a worksheet for last year.  It doesn't, however, make sense that I have one for this year and I don't recall adding anything in the EasySteps that would generate that.

The worksheet may be carried over from the previous year. You can look on line 7 of your form 1040 to see if you have an entry for capital gains or losses on your tax return that would indicate you have investment sales or a capital loss carryover from the previous year. If not or if you can associate the entry on line 7 with other investment activity on your return, you can ignore or delete the SSO worksheet.

To view your form 1040 and schedule 1 to 3:

  1. Choose Tax Tools from your left menu bar in TurboTax Online
  2. Choose Tools
  3. Choose View Tax Summary
  4. See the Preview my 1040 option in the left menu bar and click on it
  5. Choose the Back option in the left menu bar when you are done
