I have a taxable amount withheld in a 1099r line 4but it does not show on 1040 line 40.

The Form 1099-R federal taxes withheld shown in box 4 of the form are entered on Form 1040 Line 64 or Form 1040A Line 40.

Thanks for your quick reply.  I did understand your answer but thought that TT was NOT doing the math right.  My bad!  I was looking for an "odd" number since the tax withheld was $199.62" and I "mis-remembered" another 1099 credit.  Of course, $199.62 gets rounded to $200 and, combined with other 1099 credits, TT had the correct value in Line 40.
