Yes, there is an alternate way to file. You would delete your imported information and enter a summary of the different categories of transactions reported on your Form 1099-B (short-term covered, short-term not covered, long-term covered, long-term not covered).
Please see the following for instructions: How do I fix multiple “Needs Review” transactions?
You have 100 plus stocks to edit.
Please be receptive to the fact that it is your account and your stocks.
Blaming the brokerage OR sending crappy and useless documents which are
totally useless for IRS.
Please do not be upset with your broker or on you and do a sloppy job of just muddle up an easy fix
of going over your trades to show the long term/short term Profits/Losses properly.
Please note that your return should not be incomplete or sent with errors to avoid any future questions from IRS. I am only putting my 2 cents so that you can sleep well and have no trouble in future.
You can go over the left top tab in the Turbotax , select View tab and then Forms. This will put you to the working copies of 1099B and 8949 where you can fix the forms as required. Please do not take short cuts.
Your honesty will pay you in the long run although it is difficult now.
I have done it for over 300 trades in some of my accounts --only because it is my responsibility for properly
accounting and provide documents that are as clear as mud to you and the IRS.
Hope this helps
Kind regards
I forgot to mention that "" multiple trades"" is not an issue .
The issue is the numbers for Profits and losses should add up in the final tally
are you entering "various" because the Date Acquired is missing?
ask your broker why you are getting a 1099 with missing information.
If the explanation is not reasonable express your dissatisfaction.
Expressing dissatisfaction and adding enmies will just prolong your agony and sleepless nights and worries.
Just bite the bullet fix it as much as you can and complete your taxes.
Do not waste time listening to advice es which do not fix your problems.
It is your tax return and you are responsible for the return.

This is the most bogus answer I've ever seen from Turbotax. If it can't automatically select Various for the dates of one stock I need a full refund so I can pay someone to do it right!@!@@FRe
Also, the new 1099 B stock table doesn't even fit and has a scroll bar. Whoever designed the input page and whoever approved it should be fired.
The answer is bogus. TT never required this before 2023.
In addition, the desktop version now can't even fit the 1099 review in its own window and needs a horizontal scroll bar. Plus the new questions about employee stock and inherited gifted stock have massive buttons so three questions can't fit in a large window. Completely bogus and someone should be reprimanded for making the customer experience worse.
And finally, it doesn't say what needs review!
And it requires to use the horizontal scroll bar for each 1099 B which is down at the bottom of the page and trackpad won't scroll the pane.
And then it gives no indication it's ready to review each stock because the display is below the bottom of the window.
And apparently all that's need is to check the "none of these apply" boxes.
FOR EVERY SINGLE TRANSACTION.
A complete crock!
And I've called it all in to support. Maybe some of it will get fixed. I'm lucky with less than 100 of these to "review", though other years I would have given in to the paper route.
