If i already process my returns ,
What kind of 1099 form? There are like a dozen kinds. You get a 1099 from the issuer, payer or plan. Or do you need to prepare a 1099misc to give to someone else?
Sorry--your question is not clear. What are you trying to do? There are over two dozen kinds of 1099's. What kind of 1099 are you seeking--and for what tax year? 1099's are typically issued in late January/early February.
Do you mean you filed a tax return and did not include income that should have been on the tax return? Please explain your problem.
A 1099Misc is typically issued by an individual or business for whom you performed work as an independent contractor, so seek a copy from them if you did not save yours. Many of the other types of 1099's are issued by banks, brokerages and other financial institutions from which you can seek copies.
1099mics
OK--you need (or think you need) a 1099Misc. Could you please explain more? What happened with the 1099Misc? Again--what tax year?
A 1099-misc is issued in January if you worked for someone who is required to issue you one ... they have until Jan 31 to mail them out to you so wait for them to come in.... of course if you kept accurate records of how much you earned being self employed then you do not need those forms to verify your income ... you can fill in the Sch C section of the program without them ... simply skip that screen.
