Form 1099-B Issues in Federal Review (Check this Entry)

Go ahead then and do what I did...make a copy of your 1099-B and clip them on to your printed out Turbo Tax done for the rest of your report and send them off.

Well here we are in 2022 and still having the same problem with 1099-B.  It insists I review the entry.  Doesn't tell me why and I know its right.

You would think Intuit would have managed to fix it.

If you imported a form with zero's, it may loop to "Needs Review." You may need to delete all the zero's and the "Needs Review" should go away. TurboTax counts zero's as content so this could cause this issue.

Let me know if this is the case.

It actually says "Needs review"

I have taken every suggested step multiple times with the same result.

The entries were NOT downloaded.  I entered the summary totals manually.  There are no zeroes anywhere.

My case number: "[phone number removed] " was closed.  I don't know why as the problem still exists.  I am using the online version Premium version with Windows

Try to delete the 1099 and manually enter the information.

This Turbo Tax FAQ will show you how to delete a form.

I have done that - twice.

Again, it was never a download situation.  The entries were originally manually entered.

I was told on the phone with support last night that this is a known issue and being worked.  Was also told it should be fixed within the next two weeks and would get an email notification when it is done.

We'll see

Thanks

Well, any sense of relief was short-lived.  I received this email from the "Turbo Tax support team"

"We appreciate your patience while we looked into your issue. After investigating the issue, we found that we did not receive enough information from the Product support or Tax support expert to complete a full investigation into your concern."

The individual I spoke with last night fully understood the issue.  I can't imagine anything was lost in translation as it's not complicated (as explained above).

This is beyond ridiculous.  Are they aware of this or not?  Will it be fixed or not?  I can't believe I'm the only one having this problem.
