In 2007 I made a nondeductible trad IRA contribution but I wasn't using Turbo Tax then so there is no record of it ( started Turbo Tax in 2012 ) This year I converted it

I converted it to a Roth this year and now I have a 1099 R showing it as a normal distribution. How do I report it as non taxable?

Assuming that the contribution in 2007 was for 2007 (if it was for 2006, read "2007" as "2006" in what follows), if you didn't file a 2007 Form 8606 to report your nondeductible traditional IRA contribution, the IRS is not obligated to recognize your nondeductible contribution.  You should file the late 2007 Form 8606 to report the nondeductible contribution.

As you prepare your 2016 tax return with TurboTax, click the Continue button on the Your 1099-R Entries page, indicate that you made nondeductible traditional IRA contributions, then enter the amount from line 14 of your 2007 Form 8606 as your net basis in nondeductible traditional IRA contributions for years prior to 2016.
